Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions in collaboration with engineering and architecture teams
• Perform cloud engineering tasks within agile sprints using established best practices and templates
• Build new cloud environments for customers using Azure's native services
• Utilize basic architecture concepts and reusable components to build automated infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and supporting toolsets
• Present technical solutions to various audiences, from developers to executives
• Advise customer teams and decision-makers on technology options, best practices, and the added value of cloud-native approaches
• Act as the voice of Rackspace in customer projects, responsible for quality, technical transparency, and implementation success

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in conducting complex cloud projects from conception to productive deployment
• Expertise in designing, deploying, and operating automated, secure, and stable cloud infrastructures (Azure)
• Strong customer orientation and willingness to take on tasks such as provisioning, maintenance, and further development of cloud-based systems
• Ability to participate in technical discussions at various levels, from architectural decisions to concrete implementation
• Application of automation-oriented principles within agile project methods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as confident interaction in German-speaking customer environments
• Fluent language skills in German (C1)
