Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Your role in a team:

• Setting up and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS with a focus on automation, performance, reliability and containerization
• Utilize Terraform to provision, configure, and manage cloud resources
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software applications and infrastructure
• Automate application and infrastructure deployments, configuration, and maintenance in collaboration with software engineering teams
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Monitor and optimize system performance, availability and scalability

What you need to be successful:

• You have strong experience working with AWS services (i.e. RDS, ECS, ElasticCache, OpenSearch) and know best practices
• You have solid knowledge of CI/CD setup and deployment principles
• You are proficient with Terraform and IaaC codebases as well as community tools (i.e. terragrunt, tfsec etc.)
• You gained experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• You have knowledge of networking concepts and the ability to design and implement scalable and secure network architecture
• You are experienced working with a monitoring solution (preferably DataDog) for holistic infrastructure, performance and security monitoring and alerting
• You are a team player who values collaborative relationships at eye level
• You have the ability to write code that makes life easier for yourself and others
• You have a strong drive to automate things
• Your English is fluent both spoken and written
• You are located in Germany, ideally in Berlin
