About this role

We are seeking a talented AWS Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Fintech company. As an AWS Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our financial applications. You will work closely with our software development and operations teams to develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for our applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaaC principles i.e. Terraform
• Implement and manage high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recoverysolutions for our applications.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GithubActions & ArgoCD
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools like CloudWatch,Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure optimal applicationperformance and scalability.
• Conduct security audits, implement, and maintain security controls, and ensurecompliance with industry standards and regulations such as PCI-DSS
• Manage and optimize AWS costs by identifying and implementing cost-savingmeasures.
• Keep up to date with new AWS services and features and evaluate their potential usein our infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud infrastructure management and automation

• Experience with DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines,infrastructure-as-code, and configuration management.

• Experience working with financial technology systems, such as payment processing,trading systems, or banking platforms.

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices

• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOpsEngineer, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are a plus.
