Senior Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and operating scalable infrastructure and tools to support over 1 billion monthly requests, ensuring performance, availability, and resilience


• Help with configuration, unblocking the occasional stuck deployment and enable teams to manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and cloud-native tooling across a highly dynamic environment


• Collaborating closely with engineering teams and technical leadership to improve reliability, system performance, and deployment velocity


• Continuously monitoring, testing, and improving our systems to meet fast-growing operational demands, with a focus on automation and observability


• Contributing to infrastructure design decisions and building reusable, modular infrastructure components using Terraform


• Actively sharing knowledge, improving engineering practices, and elevating the team’s capabilities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Production Engineering, Platform Engineering or SRE in high-scale production environments


• Proven expertise in cloud-based systems (ideally GCP)


• Confidence in scaling infrastructure for high-traffic services


• Past experience of breaking and fixing Terraform state files without anyone noticing


• Ability to write code (Go and/or Typescript but any modern language will be fine) but mostly read and quickly comprehend different code databases


• A collaborative and proactive mindset, with a strong interest in sharing expertise, mentoring peers, and continuously learning


• The desire to thrive in environments that balance high technical standards with pragmatic decision-making
