What we are looking for
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will be part of an agile development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of a world-class AdTech platform. The Senior DevOps Engineer will own one or more areas of the infrastructure which hosts the internal suite of tools that enable the build process for the Venatus suite of technology products.
Responsibilities
Design and deployment of highly available, scalable platform infrastructure.
Implement and maintain Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD, database technologies, complex data-pipelines and various ad-hoc tooling.
Work closely with development teams to help create best in class solutions
Provide support for development teams ensuring they have all the tools and systems they need to function correctly.
Assist with security analysis and implementation, ensuring the system is secure to a very high standard.
Requirements
Engineering or Computer Science degree (or related discipline).
In-depth working knowledge of AWS and GCP
Ability to write code in Python and/or shell scripting.
Command of source control tools
Infrastructure as code
High level understanding of Networking Protocols, especially implementation in containerised environments.
Experience working in big data and complex data pipelines
Containerization experience using Kubernetes and Helm for orchestration and configuration
Business-level verbal and written English
Able to be self sufficient and work independently with minimal supervision
