As a Platform Engineer, you will help us improve and maintain our highly scalable platform that serves up Unitary’s cutting-edge machine learning technology.
Your mission will be to ensure our platform can run smoothly with minimum downtime and maximum customer satisfaction. You will achieve this by investigating issues when something goes wrong but also, more importantly, implementing proactive tools and procedures so that these issues do not happen again.
As you develop in the role, there may be options to specialise further into Platform, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps disciplines at a later date.

We need versatile people who are happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing, and are ready to learn and grow with the company.
For this particular role, we need a proactive platform expert who can work independently to make our infrastructure, services, and procedures highly resilient. You will be ready to dive straight into solving problems both technical and operational, and can demonstrate an ability to adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced start-up environment. You embrace a customer first mindset in a role that directly impacts their experience through platform availability and reliability.
This role can be placed anywhere within 3 hours of the UK time zone.
