Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in cloud-native application development, deployment, and operations. As an SRE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.

 

What you'll do

 

    • Demonstrate expertise in building, deploying, and operating cloud-native applications.
    • Implement best practices for designing and developing applications that leverage cloud services efficiently.
    • Develop and maintain robust observability solutions to monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
    • Utilize industry-leading tools and practices for logging, tracing, and monitoring.
    • Ability to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure components.
    • Implement and manage containerized applications in a production environment.
    • Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
    • Configure and optimize network configurations for performance and security.

 

Who you are

 

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) for container orchestration.
    • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
    • Proficiency in Golang for developing tools and scripts to enhance system automation.
    • Experience with Bazel for building and testing software.
    • Knowledge of SQL and database management to ensure efficient and reliable data storage and retrieval.
    • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
    • In-depth understanding of system administration and automation.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
