Platform Engineer

In this role you will be involved in helping shape the future of our cutting-edge trading platform and the teams that build apps on top of them.

The team consists of engineers dedicated to ensuring the best possible systems and responses across all areas of the Tibra business. We are looking for a junior engineer to join the platform team and help drive our future and our success.

What you will be doing:

• Deployment, support and monitoring of new platforms and application stacks - measurement and optimization of system performance
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of our core global platform
• Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing platforms
• Liaising with stakeholders and supporting their needs
• Creating technical documentation related to system configuration and operation

• An ‘all-rounder’ with an enthusiastic attitude who wants to understand more about technology and the business
• Highly motivated, driven and passionate individual
• 1-2 years engineering experience, we are open to graduates for this role.
• Kubernetes / Docker experience
• Linux Administration skills
• Demonstrate eager ownership of issues and follow through to ensure completion
• Willingness to learn new technologies, drive better efficiencies and work with our tailored on-premise stack.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Be a reliable quick thinker who can work under pressure independently and unsupervised

• Understanding of containerisation technologies and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
