Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for a remote work opportunity at Storio Group. This engineering position is crucial in our Data & AI engineering domain, focusing on building technology platform enablers that enhance value delivery and reduce cognitive load for our customer-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technology enablers to improve the domain's DORA metrics, such as cycle time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery.
• Automate: Spearhead automation in provisioning, deployment, and scaling to minimize manual intervention and reduce errors.
• Standardize: Create consistent environments and processes across the data & AI domain to streamline operations and enhance reliability.
• Enhance developer experience: Provide tools for data governance, data ingestion as a service, and DevOps tooling to optimize the focus of our software engineers.
• Build scalable platforms: Design and implement platforms that promote best practice engineering through a self-serve model.
• Champion security and compliance: Integrate security best practices and compliance standards into the platform to safeguard data.
• Mentor: Train and guide platform engineers, data engineers, and AI engineers in adopting new technologies and practices.

Required Qualifications

Seeking a cloud engineer skilled in data & AI, passionate about building heavily utilized platforms. You should have a proven track record in advocating for and implementing automation and infrastructure as code. Your experience should include creating scalable platforms that significantly improve the developer experience across technical teams in the data & AI domain.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with our technology stack, including cloud services and DevOps tools, is highly advantageous.
