🎯 The Role

The engineering team is responsible for all technology powering Bestow and the Bestow Platform. We support our employees, consumers, and enterprise partners by delivering reliable, secure, and scalable systems. This role reports to the Manager of Engineering and is open to remote employees in the U.S. (48 contiguous states only.)

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Automate and monitor our Kubernetes-based platform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build CLI tools, shared libraries, and scripts to accelerate development workflows.
• Participate in resolving developer friction by improving build/test/deploy loops.
• Implement dashboards, alerts, and runbooks for services owned by platform engineering.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and follow-up improvements.

📌 Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience working with cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi and understanding of CI/CD workflows.
• Experience in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Bash, TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI agents (e.g., Claude Code) for engineering tasks.
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of version control workflows and regular participation in code reviews.
