🎯 The Role
(Developer Experience) Our platform runs on modern cloud-native building blocks, supporting thousands of microservices and millions of active users. This role focuses on developer productivity and the Internal Developer Portal — building the tools and experiences that help product teams ship on the platform.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Develop products and tools for the BEES Cloud Platform that improve developer experience on the platform.
Design architecture, technical requirements, and solutions for platform capabilities.
Work on features for the Internal Developer Portal, including CLIs, automations, AI agents, and MCP servers.
Build abstraction layers for platform components to manage capacity, networking, microservice creation, and related concerns.
Help define and improve platform metrics and developer-facing observability.
Contribute to platform security, compliance, and guardrails.
📌 Required Qualifications
Typically 5+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or software architecture.
Solid understanding of distributed systems (consistency, failure handling, observability).
Experience with software, systems, and infrastructure architecture.
Experience with microservices architecture and patterns (decomposition, APIs, resilience).
Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous integration patterns.
Experience with authentication, authorization, and RBAC (identity systems, access control, role based permissions).
Experience with Python, Go, and TypeScript (or strong proficiency in at least two of these).
English: Advanced (written and spoken).
⭐ Desirable Experience
Experience with container orchestration and workload scheduling at scale.
Experience with service mesh concepts (traffic management, security, observability).
Experience with GitOps and declarative, Git-based deployment workflows.
