🎯 The Role
As an IT Platform Engineer, you will work across both day-to-day platform operations and longer-term technical improvements. The role covers a broad Microsoft infrastructure landscape, where reliability, structure, documentation, and continuity are important parts of the work. You will work with everything from upgrades and patching to monitoring, access management, certificates, backup, and automation - while helping evolve the platforms and the way they are managed.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and develop business-critical IT platforms
Manage and improve Windows Server and Active Directory environments
Work hands-on with Microsoft SQL Server and IIS
Manage certificates and application-related infrastructure
Perform upgrades, patching, monitoring, and technical maintenance
Work with access management and IAM-related activities
Support backup and continuity planning
Document environments, solutions, and technical procedures
Identify and drive technical improvements and automation opportunities
📌 Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience managing Windows Server
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience working with Microsoft IIS
Experience with certificate management
Strong documentation skills and a structured way of working
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Professional fluency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
