Senior Platform Engineer

Job Overview

This role, reporting to the Platform Engineering Manager, is crucial for the reliability and performance of Omnidian's production Resolv platform. You will work closely with the Platform team, developers, and product stakeholders to identify issues, improve workflows, and develop infrastructure-as-code solutions with self-service interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain tools and frameworks to improve site reliability and operational efficiency of the production Resolv platform
• Create an observability platform to improve ecosystem awareness, assist in planning, and aid issue diagnosis
• Develop organizational standards and best practices for container management and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure
• Build Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines to automate and standardize provisioning of cloud resources and environments

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a closely related field
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting workloads in production clusters
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform
• Hands-on expertise with cloud providers, preferably AWS
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system design concepts as they relate to distributed systems and cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience automating workflows and operational tasks using scripting or programming languages
