Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Development

• Build and maintain secure, privacy-focused infrastructure.
• Develop and optimize CI systems for reliability and modularity.
• Create and manage Terraform code for self-service infrastructure needs.
• Implement robust monitoring and deployment systems to minimize production risks.
• Simplify complex systems to enhance maintainability and understanding.
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization based on real workload patterns.
• Collaborate with security engineers on access controls to protect systems while maintaining productivity.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience in building and maintaining single-tenant infrastructures.
• Strong skills in designing effective CI/CD systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring and alerting in isolated environments.
• Expertise in optimizing infrastructure for performance and cost in data-intensive settings.
• Strong background in security or close work with security teams.
• Knowledge in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Interest in language, law, finance, or economics.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-leverage environment.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $162,000 to $210,000 USD, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will receive a significant early-stage equity package along with comprehensive benefits.
