Platform Infrastructure Engineer (SRE Core)

Job Overview

Menlo Security is seeking a Platform Infrastructure Engineer (SRE Core) to join our remote team. This is a full-time position in the Infrastructure department. As part of our mission to enable secure connectivity, you'll help build and operate our global infrastructure platform. We're growing rapidly and need passionate talent with empathy and agility.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain VM and Kubernetes infrastructure on GCP and AWS across multiple environments


• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform modules


• Provision cloud infrastructure including networking, compute, storage, and security components


• Implement sophisticated multi-layer configuration management


• Build comprehensive observability solutions using Grafana Cloud, Prometheus/Mimir, and OTel collectors


• Manage certificate lifecycle, DNS automation, ingress controllers, and service mesh networking


• Partner with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Security teams on system design


• Identify and eliminate toil through automation and CI/CD pipeline development


• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for incident response

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience


• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Bash, and Go


• Understanding of network topologies and communication protocols


• Kubernetes expertise including cluster administration and troubleshooting


• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning


• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services including GKE, VPC networking, and more


• Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools


• Clear understanding of LLM code assist tools
