Platform Infrastructure Engineer (Release)

Job Overview

Menlo Security is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Release Engineering team. This position is a full-time remote role based in Mexico. Release Engineering plays an integral role in implementing and executing product release processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and improve tools for continuous build and deployment, automated testing, and release management
• Own, manage, and improve the release process with a focus on scale, efficiency, and security standards
• Build and maintain tooling needed during release pushes to enable engineering teams to maintain high velocity
• Ensure infrastructure standards are being followed and offer improvements where possible
• Use a data-driven approach to measure the health of releases and supporting systems
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams to foster relationships and drive projects to completion

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering, release engineering, and/or configuration management
• Proficiency with AWS or GCP, and hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, and Ansible
• Proficiency with one or more scripting languages, including Python
• Deep understanding and experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration systems
• Experience in designing, maintaining, and documenting scalable and resilient systems with a strong security posture
• Clear English communication skills; able to tailor a message to influence organizational change and work with autonomy
• DevOps and \"on-call\" mindset—embracing the \"build it, own it, run it\" philosophy
