About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Managed Kubernetes (Mk8s) team. You will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture, reliability, and automation of our Kubernetes-based infrastructure, which powers mission-critical workloads across our global platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable control plane services, operators, and custom Kubernetes controllers
• Develop automation in Python/Go for end-to-end cluster lifecycle management
• Identify gaps and develop internal tools, APIs, and CLIs for deployment and monitoring
• Write resilient systems for large-scale distributed environments
• Develop automated tests to ensure quality and stability
• Support and debug production issues through on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, 3+ years leading complex projects
• Experience with Kubernetes and third-party operators (CRDs, CSI, CNI, etc.)
• Strong programming skills in Go and Python
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure
