Staff Software Engineer, Kubernetes Cloud

Key Responsibilities

• Build a new, unprecedented way to orchestrate Zero Trust Segmentation down to the application / pod level, identifying easily blocking pathways of attacks in the container ecosystem


• Understand and enhance modern container platforms such as Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, GKE etc.


• Own and design critical features and subsystems, work out all the details, and defend the design before your peers


• Deliver a rock-solid implementation that is elegant, simple, scalable, stable, secure, and supportable


• Mentor junior engineers, new-grads, and interns to help them grow as engineers and become productive members of the team


• Work with the field organization and key customers to shape this novel product

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent degree. Master’s degree a plus


• 8+ years building distributed & scalable software systems


• Proficient in at least one higher-level language such as Go, Python, Java, etc.


• Experience building large, distributed, and scalable software systems


• Familiarity with, and passion for Kubernetes and related technologies


• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, networking concepts, and debugging skills


• Experience with networking and security controls is a plus


• General TCP/IP networking knowledge


• Unix/Linux programming environment experience
