Platform Engineer: Your first freelance project

Growth Accelerator is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that support our company's platform. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure a robust and scalable platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the infrastructure for our company's platform, including networking, storage, and compute resources.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of our platform using modern DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications and services into the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect our platform from potential threats.
• Monitor and analyze system performance and capacity to optimize resource utilization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
