🎯 The Role

Put your technical foundations to work on the cloud platforms that help demanding AI workloads run at scale.

As a Graduate Cloud Platform Engineer, you’ll help develop, deploy and operate services across Graphcore’s high-performance AI infrastructure. Your work will support the systems used by internal teams and Graphcore cloud customers. We believe technology should expand human potential and make progress more accessible.

You’ll write automation, investigate issues, analyse logs and metrics, and help validate AI hardware and the infrastructure around it. It’s a chance to see how Linux, networking, storage and cloud services fit together and contribute to the platforms that make large-scale AI possible.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and operate services across Graphcore’s high-performance AI infrastructure
• Write automation, investigate issues, analyse logs and metrics
• Help validate AI hardware and the infrastructure around it
• Build practical experience in Linux, cloud technologies, networking, storage, observability, OpenStack, Kubernetes, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Work with engineers, researchers and Datacentre Operations to understand how platform decisions affect the people using these services

📌 Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Electronic Engineering or a related subject, completed by summer 2027 or within the two years before the programme starts
• Practical experience using the Linux command line, with scripting or programming skills such as Python or Bash
• Familiarity with Git or another version-control system, with a clear approach to documentation and code review
• A methodical approach to troubleshooting and the ability to communicate your findings and work with others

• Curiosity about cloud infrastructure, platform engineering or computer systems, with an interest in areas such as networking, storage, containers or observability
