Platform Engineer

Job Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and curious Platform Engineer to help us build, operate, and improve the infrastructure that supports our products and teams. You’ll be a hands-on contributor working alongside senior engineers, learning best practices while gradually taking ownership of core systems. If you enjoy automation, care about reliability, want to grow your cloud and infrastructure skills, and love enabling developers to do their best work, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our AWS based systems, focusing on reliability, scalability, and automation.

• Work with existing Terraform codebases to provision and manage infrastructure across environments.

• Help operate and improve our containerised platforms (ECS/EKS), supporting Node.js services in production.

• Assist in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and release automation.

• Participate in monitoring, alerting, and incident response, learning how to run systems reliably at scale.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement infrastructure improvements and best practices.

• Continuously learn and grow your skills across cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps tooling.

Required Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure role (or equivalent hands-on experience).

• Practical experience with AWS (e.g., ECS/EKS, IAM, EC2, VPC, CloudWatch).

• Working knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure-as-code concepts.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).

• Experience with a programming language like Node.js, Python or Go

• Experience with Docker and a basic understanding of Kubernetes or ECS.

• A strong desire to learn, improve, and take on increasing responsibility.

• A collaborative mindset — you enjoy working with others and asking questions.
