Job Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at Formlabs, you will play a crucial role in bringing groundbreaking professional 3D printers to the desktops of every designer, engineer, researcher, and artist globally. Working remotely, you will support teams in deploying and managing our sophisticated technology stack, contributing directly to the success of our products used by leading companies like Google, Tesla, Gillette, and New Balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teams in building, deploying, and managing software within our technology stack.
• Address operational challenges and engineer long-term sustainable solutions to enhance system reliability.
• Utilize data-driven insights to influence infrastructure enhancements and gather business requirements for strategic planning.
• Play a key role in strategic decisions regarding the adoption of new software tools, frameworks, and architectural changes.

Required Qualifications

• Proven enthusiasm for developing optimal solutions for both developers and end-users in a remote work environment.
• Dedication to the full lifecycle of systems, from inception through deployment and maintenance.
• Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively with a diverse team of software engineers and other technical staff.
• A metrics-driven approach to evaluate the impact of system changes and improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized applications, and Terraform.
• A keen interest in the synergy between software and hardware, particularly in the 3D printing sector.
• Prior experience with public cloud providers such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
