This role is pivotal in deploying and managing our cutting-edge conversational AI technology, focusing on the healthcare and housing industries. As the first DevOps Engineer, you will lead our efforts to build a robust, scalable infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our services.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure and Deployment

• Build, maintain, and enhance our infrastructure using AWS and modern DevOps practices
• Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems to ensure high availability
• Automate deployment pipelines and manage CI/CD workflows

Performance and Security

• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues
• Improve system security and auditability across different environments
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, preferably in a high-growth startup environment
• Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, and IAM
• Proficiency in scripting languages (preferably Python) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or similar
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of significant initiatives from day one
• Willingness to work in-person at our office 4-5 days a week

Compensation

The salary range for this DevOps Engineer position is $210,000 - $260,000. This total compensation package includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits and perks package, tailored to experience and qualifications.
