Go and Platform Engineer

In Dreamdata we are fixing the broken world of B2B sales and marketing by glueing the efforts in marketing and sales together with revenue - two historically disconnected entities - and it is a massive engineering challenge. Our technology provides transparency and enables insights for our customers into what works and what doesn't. It is a complicated task and requires a Python engineer with a passion for data processing.

About the position

• You will join a young company.
• You will join the platform team, working alongside the data science and application experience teams in product.
• You will be responsible for managing the infrastructure, helping our team scale services and enabling the team to move quickly. This includes libraries, services etc.
• You will own the Temporal services, the only self-hosted services that we've not written ourselves, as well as several workflows leveraging the platform.
• You will be responsible for several APIs and libraries owned by the team, written in Go. Some of these services are directly in front of customers, some are mainly internal services.
• You will be responsible for the kubernetes cluster, deployment scripts, CI and best practices in that area. This is probably 2-5 percent of time spent.
• You will work with services deployed to and in the Google Cloud Platform.
• You will almost solely be working in the Go programming language.

• You are a Go developer with a knack and/or interest in the infrastructure behind services. This is foremost a development role.
• You have worked with Kubernetes and/or you are interested becoming very proficient with it (we are using Google Kubernetes Engine)
• You believe in pragmatic iterations and working with the tools that are possible and make sense.
• You know how to integrate into many different systems, and know your way around REST APIs both as constructor and consumer.
• It is a big plus if you have worked with technologies such as Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Temporal.
