Senior DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer | CI/CD, IaC, virtualisation & containerisation | Berlin

A Senior DevOps Engineer is sought after by an e-commerce company who are the largest online marketplace in their industry. In this role, you will hold main responsibility for the server infrastructure and architecture to maximise the availability of their platform - further increasing their market dominance across Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading & developing the DevOps team
• Responsible for the server infrastructure & architecture

• Organizing the DevOps/Sysadmin tasks with an awareness of the status of projects
• Aligning infrastructure needs with application requirements
• Acting as the infrastructure stakeholder for product decisions
• Monitoring and preparing for current and future threats
• Provide assistance with insights into implementations and research

Requirements:

• 5 years minimum experience
• Experience with: Server virtualisation & containerisation, web applications, SQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, IaC
• Experience leading a small team
• Knowledge of PHP (desirable)
