Join Banxware GmbH as a Senior DevOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in architecting the foundation of fintech innovation in the cloud. This remote work engineering position is key for building and maintaining a robust and secure cloud infrastructure, enabling seamless and instant financing solutions for our partners and their merchants.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage our AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with AWS CDK.
• Build and maintain scalable and cost-effective serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Implement and enforce robust security best practices across our AWS environment.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions for optimization and high availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance and support for cloud-native application development and deployment.
• Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure platform stability and provide actionable insights.
• Contribute to the definition and enforcement of security policies and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, specifically AWS CDK.
• Proven ability to design, build, and manage serverless applications using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Strong understanding of security best practices in a cloud environment.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Fintech industry or with financial services regulations.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Security – Specialty.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes/EKS.
• Familiarity with security scanning tools and vulnerability management processes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
