Job Overview
Appvia is seeking a mid-level AWS Platform Engineer to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in London, UK with a hybrid work model (typically ~1 day per week in office/on-site). UK Security Clearance eligibility is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines
Ensure high availability and performance of cloud services
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management
Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with AWS services
Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
UK Security Clearance eligibility
