We're seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join our remote team at Zippy. As a key player in our engineering department, you will be instrumental in driving our DevOps initiatives forward, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps and Infrastructure Management
Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to define the DevOps roadmap, focusing on value propositions and trade-offs.
Guide engineers in adopting best practices in observability, monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD.
Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
Lead cross-functional initiatives with SRE, security, and development teams.
Deliver solutions for projects such as cloud migration, disaster recovery, and infrastructure scaling.
Own technical decisions and drive strategies for cloud infrastructure and observability.
Requirements
Must Have
10+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
5+ years of production experience with AWS infrastructures.
3+ years of production experience with Terraform.
Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and security best practices.
Proficiency with AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Datadog.
Nice to Have
Experience with Ruby, Python, and Microsoft stack.
Familiarity with monorepos and related tooling.

Compensation
Salary Range: $180,000 - $198,000 per year, plus bonuses and equity.
