We are seeking an experienced Sr. DevOps Engineer with lots of Go experience to work closely with our Protocol team to accelerate their development speed and improve the reliability of every release. In this role, you’ll work closely with an excellent team of protocol engineers and use your expertise in development best practices to support and accelerate their development of the ZetaChain software.

• Languages: Go, Terraform, Bash, TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Go experience is required
• Tech stack: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Cosmos SDK
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 2+ years of Linux and Kubernetes experience
  • 1+ years of blockchain development experience
  • Must play well with others, success is a team sport and at ZetaChain everyone participates!
  • Security Mindset: constantly anticipating and strategizing against potential threats and vulnerabilities in any system or process.
• Location:
  • Remote (Near San Francisco or New York City Preferred)
• Job Responsibilities:
  • Automate performance testing of the node software before each release
  • Partner with the protocol team to create automated testing suite
  • Support ZetaChain development with effective CI/CD pipelines and process automation
  • Develop open source tools to support dapp developers and node operators
  • Ensure all processes meet our security, performance, and reliability requirements
• Bonus points:
  • Experience with Go (Cosmos SDK, go-ethereum, btcsuite, Tendermint Core)
  • Understanding of blockchain (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cosmos); smart contracts (solidity, rust/wasm), p2p networking
  • Experience operating blockchain nodes and/or working with Web3 Technologies
  • Familiar with DevOps, DevSecOps, GitOps methodologies & best practices

• A creative thinker who is not only skilled in coding but also in building testing and performance monitoring tools to streamline development processes.

 

3. DevOps Engineer or SRE Transitioning to Blockchain

 

• An experienced DevOps Engineer or SRE looking to pivot into the blockchain sector. Especially relevant if you have experience with Go.
• Keen to leverage their web2 experience to contribute to and grow within the innovative world of blockchain technology at ZetaChain.
