DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Route53, and CloudWatch.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including deployment strategies, scaling, and resource management.
• Build and maintain Docker images and container orchestration workflows for application environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design, deploy, and maintain microservices-based systems.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability using modern observability tools and dashboards.
• Implement and manage DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, and load balancers for secure and efficient routing.
• Perform database management tasks including backup, restore, performance tuning, scaling, and cost optimization.
• Lead initiatives for infrastructure improvements, automation, and cost savings across cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, especially EKS, EC2, SQS, RDS, and VPC.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker in production environments.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience managing databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) in the cloud.
• Familiarity with DNS management, SSL/TLS certificates, and reverse proxies/load balancers.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system design.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong focus on monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or Docker are highly regarded.
