Prior experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Good working experience on AWS and GCP networking and system services. Provide Level-2 support for network-related, systems-related incidents, requests and escalations. Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to support cloud infrastructure. Document architectural changes, network topologies, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting. Having experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins. Etc is a plus. Having knowledge on AWS databases RDS, Dynamo DB is a plus. Good knowledge of container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes. Deploy, configure, and manage cloud resources, including virtual machines and networking components. Troubleshoot issues related to cloud services, instances, networking, or storage. Respond to incidents, requests and participate in root cause analysis. Solid understanding of networking concepts (e.g., VPCs, VPNs, DNS, firewalls). Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including connectivity problems, latency issues, and security breaches. Monitor, Identify, and troubleshoot system performance issues related to Instances, identifying and resolving bottlenecks. Supporting the cross-functional teams with migration activities. Supporting instance/vm upgrades whenever needed by the application team.
Technical capabilities- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS and GCP, with good knowledge of their following core services: AWS: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, VPC peering, Lambda and CDN AWS: VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, CloudFront, ALB/ELB. GCP: VPC, Interconnect, Cloud VPN, Cloud CDN, Cloud Load Balancing. GCP: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud VPC. Solid understanding of managing and cloud load balancers(ELB,ALB,NLB). Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and IPsec VPNs. Good understanding about CloudFormation, Lambda and EC2 snapshots. Experience with tools like AWS CloudWatch, Google Cloud Observability. Monitor cloud services using tools like AWS CloudWatch or GCP Operations Suite. Good understanding and usage of VPC flowlogs,logs explorer. Etc for troubleshooting. Manage hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPNs, Direct Connect, and Interconnect.
