Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Infrastructure to lead and oversee our technology infrastructure. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring that our technology backbone is robust, secure, and scalable, thereby enabling us to deliver high-quality software solutions to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in infrastructure strategy, team leadership, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic plan for infrastructure, anticipating future technology needs and ensuring scalability for growth.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Budget Management: Efficiently manage the infrastructure budget, optimising resource allocation.
• Architecture Design: Define the infrastructure architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Security and Compliance: Collaborate with relevant teams to enforce security policies and compliance standards.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability and service reliability.
• Vendor Management: Select and manage technology vendors, negotiating contracts to meet infrastructure needs.
• Performance Optimisation: Implement monitoring strategies to optimise infrastructure performance.

• Disaster Recovery: Develop and manage disaster recovery and incident response plans.
• Development Team Support: Collaborate with software development teams, providing necessary infrastructure support for software deployment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior infrastructure role, preferably in a technology or software development company.
• Experience with cloud supported infrastructure. Preferably AWS and Cloudflare.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies and trends.
• Excellent budget management and resource allocation skills.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements.
• Experience in vendor management and technology evaluation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various internal teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
