Job Overview

Join TravelPerk as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and play a pivotal role in building, maintaining, and optimizing our advanced cloud infrastructure. This engineering position is essential for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of systems that support our cutting-edge technology for global travel and expense management. This role offers the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Monitor and manage the performance, reliability, and security of our systems.
• Implement and enhance monitoring tools to ensure system health and availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to build and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure applications.
• Participate in our on-call rotation to resolve production issues.
• Continuously improve automation, monitoring, and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with AWS services such as ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools like DataDog, CloudWatch, and Grafana.
• Strong background in Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, or similar containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Bash, Python, NodeJS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
