Staff Infrastructure Engineer

Job Overview

Tools for Humanity is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to help establish our team's presence in the United States. This is a meaningful role where you will contribute significantly to the technical direction and best practices for our infrastructure in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical direction and best practices for infrastructure
• Perform hands-on systems administration
• Build reliable automation
• Contribute to our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practice
• Support critical systems including anonymous multi-party computation platforms, internal security services, and blockchain node deployments

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience as an infrastructure engineer
• Strong foundation in systems engineering with hands-on experience in Linux, networking, and cloud environments like AWS or GCP
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Proactive and thoughtful problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a distributed team
• Experience working on large-scale, distributed systems
