Job Overview

TikTok is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Generalized Architecture US Tech and Operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring TikTok's core services run stable, efficient, and cost-effective at global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the stability and reliability of TikTok’s core services
• Respond quickly to production incidents and build mechanisms to improve incident handling efficiency
• Define and maintain system quality SLAs through continuous data operations
• Participate in disaster recovery initiatives to strengthen system resilience
• Develop best practices, tools, and frameworks for operations and maintenance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related field
• Solid foundation in computer science and software engineering
• Understanding of operating systems, storage systems, and network I/O principles
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, PHP, C, or C++
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
