Ops Engineer, Global SRE

Job Overview

Join the MLOps - Global SRE team at TikTok, responsible for the stability of machine learning systems under the Global Monetization Products and Technology organization. This engineering position ensures the stable and efficient operations of machine learning models from data preparation to deployment and serving.

Key Responsibilities

• Set SLOs for online machine learning serving systems and maintain their stability
• Maintain stability of offline machine learning training tasks and improve success rates
• Roll out GPU model training in Non-China regions
• Ensure stability of AIGC related machine learning tasks
• Manage and plan resources for machine learning, including cost, budget, and efficiency enhancement

Required Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Expertise in Linux operating systems, networking, and storage
- Experience programming in Python, Go, C, C++, or Java
- Experience in troubleshooting application issues or production operations
- Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SRE of machine learning systems
- Experience in SRE of ads/recommendation/search systems
