Job Overview
Join TikTok's Data Infrastructure SRE team responsible for the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of core data services that power our products. This is a critical engineering position focused on building and maintaining a massive, distributed environment built on technologies like Kubernetes, Redis, MySQL, and Message Queue.
Key Responsibilities
Incident response and triage: Serve as a first responder for production alerts and incidents
Operational excellence and change management: Perform routine operational tasks following established change control processes
Iterative automation and AI augmentation: Identify and automate repetitive manual tasks using scripting languages
Observability and monitoring: Improve our observability posture by refining monitoring dashboards
Data Center and AI Infrastructure: Support daily operations of data center environments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar role
Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Go)
Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and networking concepts
