Job Overview

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Theodo GovTech team in Paris. This is an opportunity to work on complex, constrained projects within the public sector, focusing on infrastructure design and implementation in on-premise or private cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceive infrastructure architectures adapted to constrained contexts (security, sovereignty, performance)
• Build and deploy infrastructures from scratch or in refactoring
• Disseminate DevOps practices within agile teams
• Challenge technical choices to optimize costs, performance, and maintainability
• Analyze defects and incidents to strengthen system robustness
• Explain, document, and make complex technical decisions readable
• Train teams in DevOps best practices

Required Qualifications

Hard skills:
- Minimum 5 years of SRE experience in on-premise or private cloud environments
- Excellent mastery of complex DevOps and web concepts
- Strong foundations in containerization and orchestration
- Solid skills in networks and Linux systems
- Ability to design and explain clear architectures
- Strong emphasis on quality, readability, and maintainability

Soft skills:
- Pragmatism: creating maximum value with existing constraints

- Curiosity and desire to progress (and help others progress)
- Humility: knowing when to ask for help and challenge with kindness
