About the Role
Are you ready to revolutionize blockchain infrastructure? As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Tenderly, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our platform. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining our cutting-edge infrastructure and optimizing our services for seamless user experiences.
What you’ll do:
- Architect and Scale: Design high-level schematics for infrastructure and processes, ensuring scalability and alignment with business priorities.
- Monitor and Optimize: Proactively monitor system performance, analyze scalability metrics, and optimize our platform for peak efficiency.
- Enhance CI/CD: Strengthen our CI/CD pipelines to uphold production reliability and stability, integrating best practices for continuous improvement.
- Lead Incident Response: Develop strategies and procedures for mitigating risks, preparing for contingencies, and minimizing disruptions.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering and product teams to implement infrastructure improvements and streamline deployment processes.
- Innovate: Stay at the forefront of Web3 innovation, integrating new technologies and refining existing systems to maintain industry leadership.
Our Technology Stack:
Tenderly operates on a sophisticated tech stack designed for robust and scalable blockchain solutions. As an SRE, you'll leverage:
- Kubernetes ecosystem for container orchestration ensuring seamless scalability.
- Prometheus stack for observability and alerting.
- Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services for reliable cloud infrastructure.
- PostgreSQL, Kafka, Cassandra, and more for supporting our high-performance database and messaging needs.
- ArgoCD, Github Actions and Google Cloud Build for fast automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Geth, Erigon, and other Blockchain clients.
About You
We're seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer with a passion for pioneering blockchain infrastructure and enhancing user experiences. You should possess:
- Proven Expertise: Extensive experience in SRE or DevOps roles, with a track record of optimizing large-scale distributed systems.
- Problem-Solving Prowess: A systematic approach to problem-solving, coupled with strategic decision-making skills to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and proficiency in scripting languages.
- Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work effectively across teams and drive infrastructure improvements.
