🎯 The Role

As a Teamlead DevOps, you will not only have technical expertise but also be responsible for the organizational and operational management as well as the strategic further development of our DevOps team. This means ensuring that infrastructure projects are considered early, structured, and planned, and that technical platforms are reliably operated.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organizational and operational management as well as the strategic further development of our DevOps team.
• Ensure that infrastructure projects are considered early, structured, and planned, and that technical platforms are reliably operated.
• Develop internal platforms and infrastructure processes continuously with the team.
• Work closely with the team and remain technically close to the systems without taking on most of the operational work.
• Maintain an overview of ongoing infrastructure topics and ensure commitment and transparency.
• Support your team in technical decisions and ensure that knowledge and responsibility are appropriately distributed within the team.
• Handle on-call duties as part of the team.
• Shape infrastructure and platforms for large digital offerings from media houses.
• Decide where you work - remote or office.

📌 Required Qualifications

• Experience in operating modern cloud and infrastructure platforms and taking responsibility for technical teams, platforms, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in team management, capacity planning, and prioritization in technical projects.
• Familiarity with operating cloud and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, GCP, or similar environments).
• Very good Linux skills and a solid understanding of networks (DNS, routing, firewall, ingress/egress).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), automation (Ansible), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/OpenTofu).
• Familiarity with agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical topics clearly and structured, and highly solution-oriented.

• Experience in leading technical teams and managing complex technical projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging technical issues.
