DevOps Platform Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Platform Engineer to join our team at Tail Light, LLC [Bouncie]. As a DevOps Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines to ensure the reliability and scalability of our web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and performance issues.
• Maintain, automate, and streamline our deployment processes.
• Collaborate with software development teams to optimize application performance and scalability.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools and technologies.

• Strong proficiency in DevOps methodologies including hands-on experience with containerization tools like Rancher and Docker.
• Experience with implementing and managing infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Proficiency in the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) for project management and collaboration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud along with knowledge of Cloudflare.
• Competence in Google Workspace administration and configuration.
• Experience with VMware for virtualization.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools, such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as CloudWatch or ELK Stack.
