🎯 The Role

Join Hostinger's Product team as SysAdmins Manager and lead the Web Hosting SysAdmin team in Indonesia. The team keeps more than 1,600 bare-metal hosting servers across 16+ data centres healthy and covers the Asia-Pacific daytime window of our 24/7 global rotation, working hand in hand with the Lithuanian and Brazilian SysAdmin teams. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. About half of your time stays technical: you operate, debug and ship alongside your engineers. The other half goes into your people: hiring, coaching, protecting the team's health and setting them up to succeed. You own the team's shift coverage and incident response, but you are not personally on rotation or on-call. You will work closely with engineering, developer, Customer Success and product managers.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Indonesian Web Hosting SysAdmin team and own its shift coverage: you design the rotation, you are not on it;
• Own incident response in your window: acknowledgement, customer communication, postmortems and follow-up within SLA;
• Act as the sysadmin escalation point for Customer Success on complex hosting and security cases;
• Stay hands-on across a fleet running CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, cPanel/WHM and MariaDB: diagnose, optimise and fix;
• Deliver long-term engineering and automation with Ansible/AWX, Prometheus and Grafana that removes repetitive shift work;
• Drive AI adoption in operations: automated ticket resolution, AI-assisted diagnosis and faster runbooks;
• Hire, onboard and coach; run weekly reporting, team KPIs and quarterly performance reviews;
• Coordinate daily with the Lithuanian and Brazilian SysAdmin teams, WH engineering and product, and make the final technical call when the team needs one.

📌 Required Qualifications

• You have 3+ years supporting enterprise-scale Linux environments, including database and web-server performance tuning;
• You have 1+ years leading or mentoring an engineering or sysadmin team, ideally one that runs shifts or on-call;
• You have hands-on experience with the web hosting stack: cPanel/WHM, LiteSpeed, Apache or Nginx, MariaDB/MySQL, CloudLinux (LVE, CageFS);
• You understand on-premises / bare-metal infrastructure;
• You are comfortable with security hardening and malware response on shared hosting (Imunify360, Monarx or similar);
• You script and automate: Bash or Python, Ansible;
• You have hired before and know what a strong sysadmin looks like in an interview;
• Your English skills are C1 - C2;
• You are a constant learner who loves Linux and cares about uptime, people and clean processes.
