🎯 The Role

The Systems Administrator (CSE II) will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and operations across multiple subsystems. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead projects and work independently in a task-oriented, schedule-driven environment.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Perform patch and vulnerability management.
• Troubleshoot applications and end user device issues, servers, and databases.
• Configure and install devices such as desktops, servers, DC’s, PDU’s, UPS, etc.
• Work with PowerShell, Backup solutions, Maximo, ServiceNow.
• Utilize automation tools.
• Manage Microsoft Windows OS and Linux environments.
• Work with SIEM and flaw remediation tools.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Troubleshoot network related issues.

📌 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Systems, or other related degree.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Security+, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP certification.
• Experience with patch and vulnerability management.
• Experience troubleshooting applications, end user devices, servers, and databases.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including VLANs, firewalls, subnets, DNS, and IPv4.
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS/Google cloud computing concepts.
• Experience with device configuration and installations.
• Experience working with PowerShell, Backup solutions, Maximo, ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with automation tools.
• Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a NASA background investigation.
• Must be able to pass initial and random drug testing.
• Must demonstrate expertise in IT Enterprise Operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows OS and Linux.
• Experience with SIEM and flaw remediation tools.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Works under general supervision.

⭐ Desirable Experience

• CompTIA: Network+, Security+
• Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification (or 8140)
• Microsoft 365 Administrator certifications
• Azure/AWS certifications
• CCNA/Juniper certifications
