DevOps/SRE Engineer (f/m/x) (Germany)

As a DevOps/SRE Engineer at Spark Networks, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to design, build, test, and support web services and applications. Your expertise in automation and system design will help drive the success of our platforms and ensure a seamless user experience. 

What You'll Do 

• Design and Build: Design, build, test, deliver, and support fully fledged web services or applications. 

• Collaborate: Work with engineering teams on the design and implementation of new rollouts and large-scale systems. 

• Automate Testing: Automate post-deployment smoke/integration tests to validate production changes. 

• Advocate Best Practices: Act as an advocate for adopting best practices in system design and automation standards.

Who You Are 

• Experienced Engineer: At least 4 years of experience with AWS, serverless and container technologies. 
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and building CI/CD pipelines using GitOps and SRE principles. 
• Scripting Skills: Proficient in development/scripting with Golang, Python, or Bash. 
• Collaborative and Organized: Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and good organizational skills. A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
• On-Call Experience: Previous experience and willingness to work on an on-call basis. 
• Experience with Ansible, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JVM is a plus.
