Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Overview

Spalding, a Saalex Company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support containerized applications and improve CI/CD pipeline solutions. This is a remote position with on-site requirements for onboarding and training as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong developer experience and be able to identify, test, and implement pipeline process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop DevOps functionality for CI/CD pipeline solutions
• Improve and maintain GitLab pipeline configurations
• Understand and interpret Cyber Security guidelines to resolve code vulnerabilities
• Maintain, monitor, and optimize the parent scan pipeline
• Assist with GitLab upgrades and provide evening support when required
• Configure customer projects and access to pipeline
• Onboard new applications and customers to the CI/CD environment
• Craft and maintain gitlab-ci.yaml files
• Research, analyze, and recommend technical solutions for new CI/CD environments
• Provide demos, overviews, and briefs regarding pipeline functionality
• Update and maintain documentation
• Provide mentorship to junior teammates

Required Qualifications

• CI/CD implementation experience
• Design/development of DevOps pipelines experience
• Proficient communication and documentation skills
• CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment
