The Essence of the Role

 

 

Our team is a blend of Developers, Operations Engineers and Administrators handling development, operations, and maintenance of the end-to-end solution. We are now searching for a new member to strengthen our development team and help take our solution to the next level. In this position you will be working in a DevOps team responsible for developing and operating the Sentinel solution.

 

 

A huge part of this role involves migrating and deploying our legacy system into an innovative AWS environment and building micro services deployed in Kubernetes. As a result, experience in AWS and IP/DNS will therefore be essential for this position.

 

 

As our DevOps Engineer you will:

 

• Migrate, build and deploy our services in AWS ecosystem, employ industry best practices and technologies.
• Work closely with our product team to develop and implement the solutions that aligns with their needs and requirements.
• Ensuring the delivery and quality of our coding framework.
• Break down epics from the product owners into sprints, tasks and provide estimates.
• Improve CI/CD pipeline.
• Provide insights for process improvements.

 

While our normal working hours are Monday through Friday, it is important to note this role may require your availability beyond regular office hours in the event of significant systems emergencies where your expertise is required.

 

 

To contribute to this role, we see that you have:

 

• A minimum of 3 years of experience either in Software Development or DevOps, preferably, a combination of both roles.
• Proficiency in AWS, Docker or Kubernetes, with hands-on experience.
• Solid knowledge of Java, MySQL, Spring, React, REST and Spring Boot applications.
• Written and spoken English fluency.
