In this key role, you will bridge OT and IT, drive the digitalization of production, and ensure that production-critical systems are stable, secure, and future-proof. You will work closely with plant management, IT-Security, and external partners to implement measurable improvements in an international production landscape.

🎯 The Role

You will be the central point of contact for MES and production-related systems including peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners). You will implement new requirements in connected production systems and take over customizing together with internal and external partners.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• You are the central point of contact for MES and production-related systems including peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners).
• You implement new requirements in connected production systems and take over customizing together with internal and external partners.
• You are responsible for OT-Security together with the IT-Security team and develop appropriate strategies.
• You plan, implement, and commission new and change projects in OT with relevant software and hardware components.
• You identify optimization potential and support the standardization of production processes in an international environment.
• You coordinate national and international suppliers and ensure a continuously documented production landscape.

📌 Required Qualifications

• Completed degree (ideally Information Technology) or comparable qualification with several years of experience in production IT.
• Very good understanding of industrial processes and production systems, ideally experience with digitalization/Industry 4.0.
• Fluent in German and English in speech and writing.
• Target group-oriented communication with IT and non-IT stakeholders.
• Analytical, independent, solution-oriented.
• Resilient, flexible, and eager to learn; willingness to occasional international business trips.
• Team player with appreciative and trusting attitude.

• Knowledge of OPC UA and other industrial interfaces.
