🎯 The Role

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for leading our security initiatives, ensuring compliance through code and automation. You will work closely with your team to manage our ISMS (TISAX), incident handling, and IT security and data protection contracts.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Führung mit Ziel: You will join the current leadership team, learn our systems in-depth, and eventually take full responsibility for the Security team.
• Strategischer Weitblick: You will plan technological and regulatory requirements for the next 6 to 24 months proactively.
• Engineering & Automation: You will develop infrastructure and automate manual tasks through code.
• Compliance & Governance: You will be responsible for our ISMS (TISAX), manage incident handling, and review IT security and data protection contracts.
• Enablement: You will train our developers and help them build secure project architectures from the start.

📌 Required Qualifications

• Ausbildung & Erfahrung: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering (Master's/PhD preferred).
• Leadership & Strategie: Proven experience in building and leading engineering teams, strategic planning, and incident handling.
• Security & Compliance: Experience in managing and developing an ISMS (ideally VDA/ISA or TISAX).
• Engineering-Stack: Solid knowledge in UNIX system administration, networking, Docker, Kubernetes, and programming experience (ideally in Go).
• Track Record: Significant influence on the technical success of your previous projects and quick learning ability.
• Language: Fluent German (C1) and fluent English.

⭐ Desirable Experience

• Experience in reviewing data protection and security contracts.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), distributed systems (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Observability (Logging, Monitoring, Alerting, Tracing).
