📋 Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Cloud Engineer to become the senior technical escalation point within a managed services engineering team. This is a hands-on Level 3 role focused on Microsoft 365, Azure and modern cloud infrastructure. You will own complex technical issues through to resolution, deliver customer infrastructure projects, provide expert technical guidance, and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.

🎯 The Role

This is a hands-on Level 3 role focused on Microsoft 365, Azure and modern cloud infrastructure. You will own complex technical issues through to resolution, deliver customer infrastructure projects, provide expert technical guidance, and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers. The role is suited to a technically strong engineer who enjoys solving complex problems while actively building the capability, confidence and technical standards of the wider engineering team.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 engineers
• Take ownership of complex technical issues through to resolution
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
• Support engineers with troubleshooting and technical decision-making
• Ensure escalated issues are resolved efficiently and appropriately documented
