🎯 The Role

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer - Contract Position that understand infrastructure strategy, cloud architecture, and operations across high-impact environments. You’ll collaborate across global teams, and help shape DevOps practices that span multiple portfolio companies. This is a hands-on and high-visibility role, ideal for someone who can balance architecture and execution.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate across global teams to shape DevOps practices that span multiple portfolio companies
• Balance architecture and execution in high-impact environments
• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure, including environment built from scratch and maintaining existing setups
• Provision and manage RDS (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Configure and manage EC2, ALB, ACM, Route 53, and AWS WAF
• Administer Windows Server, including AD, IIS configuration, licensing, PowerShell scripting, and basic OS hardening
• Install and configure third-party Windows-based software and troubleshoot service/connectivity issues
• Work with .NET, Python runtime environments on Windows
• Set up and maintain CloudWatch or similar monitoring/alerting systems
• Document processes and run clear knowledge transfer/handoff sessions
• Work in an Agile, iterative delivery model
• Implement CI/CD and IaC using Terraform

📌 Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Production AWS infrastructure experience, including environment built from scratch and maintaining existing setups
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking: VPC, subnets, NAT/Internet Gateways, routing, Security Groups, NACLs
• Experience with AWS security services: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, Config, GuardDuty, Security Hub
• Experience provisioning and managing RDS (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience with EC2, ALB, ACM, Route 53, and AWS WAF
• Windows Server administration skills, including AD, IIS configuration, licensing, PowerShell scripting, and basic OS hardening
• Comfortable installing and configuring third-party Windows-based software and troubleshooting service/connectivity issues
• Familiarity with .NET, Python runtime environments on Windows
• Experience with CloudWatch or similar monitoring/alerting setup
• Strong documentation habits and the ability to run a clear knowledge transfer/handoff session
• Ability to work in an Agile, iterative delivery model
• Knowledge and prod experience of CI/CD and IaC Terraform

⭐ Desirable Experience

• Experience with Datadog, Grafana, or Akamai CDN
• Familiarity with Azure, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, or Mux Enterprise
• Proficiency in Python or Go for scripting and automation
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Helm, or advanced EKS scaling
• Previous work in consulting or multi-client environments
